Hi! I'm Ben.
I like helping companies make sense of their data. The average company manages over 150TB of data, and I like to put that data to use. Over 70% of enterprise data is unused - just imagine what we could do if we harnessed the power of all that data!
I have experience working for both small R&D companies and large multinational corporations. I’ve built computer vision algorithms and robotic control systems. More recently I have built BI reporting dashboards, data engineering pipelines, and enterprise machine learning solutions.
I studied physics at USC, and I use a first-principles approach to problem solving. I believe that most complex problems can be deconstructed into simple problems. I’m also a huge advocate for education and knowledge-sharing; I try to share what I have learned in my blog.
Away from the keyboard, I like to exercise and cook.
